There have been whispers that Rihanna is already working on her next album. Now Ryan Seacrest confirms reports that the red-haired diva is back in the lab with a new project due later this year. RiRi, who is currently making her way around the country on her “LOUD” tour, has plans to release her sixth album this fall. It would come as no surprise as she has put out five albums in the past five years, with her most recent project LOUD still spawning hit singles. Seacrest spoke with the singer’s camp and made the announcement on his KIIS FM radio show. “We can confirm that Rihanna is currently working on material and will release a brand new album this fall,” he said. Singer-songwriter Kevin Rudolf previously told Rap-Up.com that he has been submitting material for the as-yet-untitled project. “[I'm] writing some stuff for Rihanna right now,” he said. “I hear she’s back at it.”

Beyonce heats up the cover of Australian magazine Cleo’s July issue. The 29-year-old entertainer recently updated her Facebook page and teased fans with what they can expect from her upcoming album, 4. “The album is definitely an evolution. It’s bolder than the music on my previous albums because I’m bolder. The more mature I become and the more life experiences I have, the more I have to talk about. I really focused on songs being classics, songs that would last, songs that I could sing when I’m 40 and when I’m 60,” she wrote. Her latest album, 4, which drops June 28, is a girl-power-filled ode to the power of love: its highs, lows and all the sublime moments in between. If you didn't listen to the full album when it leaked on Tuesday and have only heard singles "Run the World (Girls)," "1+1" and "Best Thing I Never Had," you're only getting part of the picture. There are some really surprising moments on the album that her singles only touch on. 4 is all about throwback jams, in the vein of R&B power girls like Mary J. Blige and SWV, with a little Mariah Carey thrown in for good measure. Sony Pictures, the studio behind the first flick, “is moving forward on its much speculated Salt sequel,” Deadline reports. Kurt Wimmer has reportedly started writing it for Angelina, who “wants to do [it] if it comes together right.” FYI: Angelina turned 36 on Saturday (June 4). Happy belated birthday, Angie!!!
