The trailer is now online for the paranormal thriller “Dark Skies,” from the producers of “Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious,” and “Sinister.” The film stars Keri Russell, Josh Hamilton, and J.K. Simmons. The supernatural thriller follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel and Lacey Barret witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family. For the most part I really enjoyed Insidious, so I for one will certainly be giving the sequel a look in. If you too are interested in checking out the sequel which is entitled, Insidious Chapter 2, head on down below as we have scored the official release date. According to Dread Central, production on the sequel is said to take place on January 15, 2013 with a release date set for August 30th. Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty Simpkins will all be returning in Insidious Chapter 2.
