MTV Europe Music Awards: the nominees are in!

It's almost time for the 2011 MTV EMAs, with Lady GaGa leading the pack with six nominations.

Katy Perry and Bruno Mars are hot on the You And I singer's heels with four nods, as GaGa and Perry are set to do battle for the Best Live, Best Pop and Best Female accolades.

GaGa is also nominated for Best Video for Born This Way and Biggest Fans - a new gong which will be awarded to the most passionate fan base for a particular artist.

British songstress Adele - who is currently the top-selling artist of the year - has also scored three nominations, along with Justin Bieber and 30 Seconds To Mars.

Other multi-EMA nominees include Foo Fighters, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J, Coldplay, Beyonce, Eminem and Kanye West to name but a few.

The 18th Annual MTV EMAs will air live from Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Sunday, 6th November at 9pm GMT.
