Katy Perry to take a career break: it's time for me to go the F*** away

Katy Perry has stated that "it's time for her to go the f**k away" once she's finished promoting new 3D movie Part Of Me.
The Wide Awake singer, who wowed crowds in a red prom dress at the LA premiere of the concert flick on Tuesday (26th June), claims she wants to take time out to concentrate on writing some new songs.

When asked by MTV News what's next for her after Part Of Me, K-Pez admitted: "I'm going into hiding. I want to go and write songs in the woods or something.

"I'm gonna unplug, take my hair extensions out, feel my head again. I'm gonna unplug and recharge, if that makes any sense."

She added: "I'm gonna go away. I'm sure you know it's time for me to go the f**k away."

Earlier this week, the 27-year old confirmed that she wants to take time out from her career after her movie release, stating she "needs her heart to heal" following her divorce from funnyman, Russell Brand.

While Katy may be planning to step out of the showbiz spotlight, she still had time to party with her celeb pals Robert Pattinson, Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez after the premiere of her flick.

UsMagazine.com claims the foursome attended the opening of David Arquette's new nightclub, Bootsy Bellows, as well as hitting Chateau Marmont in LA for the Part Of Me after party.

A source told the website: "Rob and Katy are good friends so he was happy to celebrate with her, it wasn't just the four of them, but everyone was close.

"He's just checking in on her. It's not romantic at all. They're friends."
